Very interesting article covering an event back in Nov, and focused on good fire from the Native/cultural view.

I especially loved:

"Leok Po - (pronounced lay-oak poe) in the Wintun language meaning 'Good Fire'"

and

"We're not burning to get rid of the extra fuel...we're burning to take care of the plants."
