Hi Fire Friends, my name is Amy and I’m excited to learn more about fire and prescribed burns. I took my FF2, but have no experience yet on a burn. I’m looking forward to this journey and learning from this group.  This is an area entirely new in my life that I am drawn to working in to become a responsible steward of the land.  I am a Licensed Massage Therapist based here in Truckee.  I am a newer property owner with an over 50 acre parcel in between Portola and Beckwourth, CA in the beautiful Sierra Valley. My husband, Kevin, and I currently educating ourselves about prescribed fire and water harvesting practices. Richard has really inspired both my husband and I and I’m very excited to learn.  Thank you.
